RSVP: A free Eventbrite ticket reserves your spot. If you're able, we encourage you to consider donating $20 per person ($40 per family) to support the artist. If you can't make it, but would still like to donate to support the artist, Time: Doors open at 6:30pm! Concert starts at 7:00pm. Hangout around the campfire (weather permitting) after the show with friends and the artist.Refreshments: Some snacks drinks will be available.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hello. I have been writing, recording and performing music since 2004. For most of my twenties I led an indie-rock band called The Lonely Forest. We toured with bands like Death Cab For Cutie, played on Jimmy Kimmel Live and were voted a "best new artist" on NPR, among other things.

I became a Christian and eventually left that band in order to live a healthier life. I began releasing music under my own name in 2017. I have released five full length solo albums that vacillate between loud indie-rock and low-fi acoustic music. I sing openly about my faith but I also sing openly about everything else; thus I tend to make music that walks a precarious path between the secular and sacred.

My live shows typically are confessional, interactive experiences in which I perform alone on the guitar and piano; I enjoy using the live format as a chance to tell bits and pieces of my own redemptive story. When I'm not making solo music I play/sing in multiple bands, lead worship at a local church and I write "modern hymns" for a publishing company.I currently live with my wife and two children in Anacortes, WA.
